We are active investors and committed advisors. When Falcon makes an investment, each of our principals makes a personal financial commitment to the success of the venture. We make investments of between $2 million and $10 million. We focus on opportunities where we can play a meaningful role on the board of our portfolio companies. For larger investments, we will co-invest together with other private equity funds with which we have a well established relationship and a like-minded investment philosophy. We will consider investments in several industries but we give special consideration to sectors in which we have specific operating expertise, such as healthcare, and also niche sectors supporting the real estate development and transportation industries. We have a preference for investment opportunities located in Florida and the Southeast U.S.We generally provide growth capital to companies who are operationally profitable, though we will consider earlier stage investments that represent a compelling opportunity. |
